Ian Cameron

As a player Ian had two separate spells at Firhill.
He first joined the Club from Aberdeen at the start of the 1992/1993 season and in four seasons he made over 150 first team appearances and scored four of the Thistle goals in the famous 11-1 win against Albion Rovers.
After leaving Firhill Ian, who started his career with St Mirren, had spells with Hibs, Raith Rovers, Clyde (on loan) and Clydebank before returning to Firhill for a short period in season 2000/2001 before ending his playing career with Airdrieonians.
Ian returned to Firhill as coach of the under 17s in season 2008/2009 and this season has taken charge of the under 19 side.
Ian will also assist manager Ian McCall and his assistant David Irons on first team match days.
