Following the recent introduction of our new scoreboard, we announced plans to offer supporter messages, such as birthday greetings and special announcements, on a paid basis.
The proposal was introduced because there are genuine costs associated with creating, administering and displaying these messages. However, we have taken on board the feedback received from supporters, many of whom felt that charging for these announcements was not in keeping with the community spirit of a fan-owned club.
We want our supporters to know that we have listened.
As a result, supporter messages will be provided free of charge for the remainder of the current season.
To ensure we can manage demand and continue to deliver messages to a good standard, the number of messages displayed at each match may need to be limited. Priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Submit a Message
Supporters wishing to submit a message (text only, no images) for a Saturday fixture should email no later than close of business on the preceding Wednesday.
Please include:
While we will do our best to accommodate all requests, space and operational considerations may mean that not every submission can be displayed.
Looking Ahead
The new scoreboard has created a number of opportunities for the club, both in terms of supporter engagement and commercial revenue. Over the remainder of this season, we will review the costs associated with providing supporter messages alongside the wider revenue generated through scoreboard advertising and other activities.
This review will help inform our longer-term approach, and any policy for future seasons will be considered during the summer of 2027.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views. Supporter feedback is important to us, and we remain committed to ensuring the new scoreboard enhances the matchday experience for all.
